What we collect when you use DeckScout, and what we do with it.
Information You Give Us
When you submit a form on DeckScout, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, town or city, county, optional email address, and details about your deck project. If you're a deck builder claiming a listing, we collect your business contact details.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, we record basic technical information such as the page you came from, the pages you visit, campaign tags in the link you followed, and whether you tapped a phone number. We use this to understand which pages help homeowners and to report results to builders.
How We Use It
- To contact you about your project and connect you with deck builders you choose.
- To give builders you selected the details they need to provide a quote.
- To improve the site and measure how well it works.
Who We Share It With
We share your project details only with the deck builders you choose to hear from. We do not sell your information to lead brokers or contractor lists. We use service providers, such as Google for form handling and Cloudflare for hosting, who process data on our behalf.
Your Choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information you submitted by calling (828) 471-7706.
Changes
We may update this policy as DeckScout grows. Material changes will be posted on this page.
